The Bobby Murray Baseball Invitational this past weekend saw two local teams going in opposite directions. Athens Drive, previously 7-2, goes 0-for-3 in the tournament to finish eighth. Both teams got good news afterwards, as the Jags picked up a tiebreaker for the second seed in the conference tournament and the Falcons clinched the fifth-and-final playoff spot with Lee County losing to Apex.
