It was a strange ending to the Cary Chargers' season.

The Southeast Dallas Wolverines' QB was knocked down pretty hard by one of the Cary players and had to be carted off the field.

After the injury, the Wolverines were down to 15 players and by Pop Warner rule, had to forfeit the game.

The kids were devastated and the coaches were too.

Despite the forfeit, both teams decided to scrimmage each other, but neither team could score.

On Tuesday, however, a few players were asked to play in the game verus the NFL Mascots. Only five of the Chargers got to play in the game, and their team won 14-0.

It was a very popular event Tuesday and most of the Pop Warner people came over to the field to watch.

Photos of the event can be found here.
