Briana Beanland of Cary will soon compete for the title of Miss North Carolina Teen USA. Selected from hundreds of applicants, she will compete for the crown Nov. 14-15 in High Point.

Beanland is a junior at Green Hope High School. She entered her first pageant last year and was crowned Miss North Carolina Junior Teen. She has cheered on the varsity team at Green Hope for the past three years is a founding member and president of Green Hope’s pep club, is a copy editor for the school yearbook and is a member of the National Honor Society. Beanland is an avid community volunteer and enjoys being a part of the Cary BUD TV cast, which airs daily.
