Averett University

Tyler Steven Eubanks of Cary was named to the honors list for the 2005 fall semester at Averett University in Danville, Va. Students must have a minimum of 12 hours of graded work for the semester to be considered for honors. A freshman, Eubanks was added to the President's List with a 4.0 grade point average. He is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in journalism.

Brent Bielinski of Raleigh was named to the high honor roll for the first semester. He was also chosen to represent the academy at the Harvard University model congress which takes place in March. Governor Dummer Academy in Byfield, Mass., was founded in 1763 and is the oldest private boarding college preparatory school in America.
