Adams Elementary
Adams Elementary School students are working hard to help their school and community through an annual fundraiser and coupon book sale. In tough times, coupon usage soars with savings on eating out, auto repair, entertainment and much more. While you’re saving, community businesses can gain new customers and the school can afford new programs and equipment that couldn’t otherwise be purchased. Apex Middle
Sixth grade orientation will be Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for last names beginning with A - K and Friday, Aug. 21, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for last names beginning with L - Z.

Apex High
• Cougar Camp for incoming freshmen (Class of 2013) and parents will be Aug. 12 to Aug. 13. For last names A-F, come Aug. 12, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; last names G-L will be Aug. 12, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.; last names M-R meet Aug. 13, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; last names S-Z will be Aug. 13, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. At camp, students will the opportunity to pick up class schedules, take a tour of the campus, and participate in teambuilding activities. Parents are invited to attend the parent open house during camp in the cafeteria, sponsored by the PTSA. The PTSA will be selling memberships, spiritwear and planners.
• Freshman — new student orientation will be Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. This is a chance for new students and parents to ‘walk their schedule’ and get oriented to the campus. The PTSA will be there selling memberships, spiritwear and planners. No teachers will be present.

Davis Drive Middle
Panther Pride Camp for sixth grade only will be Wednesday, Aug. 19: A-L 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and M-Z 10:30 a.m. to noon. Open House for seventh and eighth graders will be Wednesday, Aug. 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Holly Springs High
The Holly Springs High School Golden Hawks Club has announced their 2009-10 quarterly general meeting schedule. The first meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the HSHS Media Center on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Parents and guardians of incoming freshmen as well as any community members interested in supporting HSHS student athletes are encouraged to attend. Attention rising ninth graders from Dillard Drive Middle, Lufkin Road Middle, Holly Ridge Middle and West Lake Middle — The athletic booster club at MCHS is eager to keep students and parents abreast of what’s going on and welcomes involvement.
