Morrisville Elementary Year-round School will hold information sessions/school tours for prospective applicant students on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Olive Chapel Elementary
• Kindergarten registration will be held on Thursday, Feb. 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the media center. Parents should bring the following items when they register their child: the child’s Social Security card, a certified copy of the child’s birth certificate, an updated immunization record, a completed Kindergarten Health Assessment, and proof of residence (utility bill, housing contract or rental agreement).
• Student Council will meet Friday, Feb. 6, at 8:10 a.m. Friday will also be a spirit day and all students are encouraged to wear their spirit wear or school colors of blue and white. Interims and Progress Update Reports will go home with all students in grades 1-5, on Tracks 1 and 2, on that day as well.
• Indent-A-Kid pictures for students on Track 4, will be taken on Wednesday, Feb. 11.

Penny Road Elementary

Raleigh School
• Feb. 4: Linda Castelloe’s second graders will host their Rain Forest Sharing at 9 a.m. The students will perform plays and sing songs all related to the rain forest — their current unit of study.
• Feb. 4: Both third grades will make their second visit to Prairie Ridge with their focus on the environment during the winter.
• Feb. 10: The parent education committee is hosting a workshop titled, “Conscious Discpline: Creating Conscious Connections with Our Kids,” facilitated by Michelle Chackes, project enlightenment parent educator.
