If you don't like the growth, move

It's election season in Cary, and I'm sorry to see that same old arrogant, condescending, and self-important Town Council critters want to keep their jobs.

How nice for the status quo crowd at the Cary Chamber of Clowns, developers, and real estate agents.

What was the slogan used to de-throne former mayor, Ernie McAlister?

"McAlister lied, and good trees died."

Well folks, the current crop of council lords were also just as responsible for the over-development of Cary as McAlister.

They were the ones who very rarely ever said no to developers.

How is the traffic these days?

I don't know what their thinking is.

But watching Cary turning into a bedroom community like the suburbs of Washington, D.C., or Atlanta was not my idea of a high quality of life.

So we moved to a little place out in the country.
