Signs of the timesI am delighted to think some sense may finally be applied to the restrictions on signs ["Signs getting more colorful," Aug. 26].
Perhaps the Town of Cary could be allowed to have a little personality.
That's what makes towns inviting and unique -- like that junky, but interesting, home across from St. Michael's on High House Road.
That guy was here long before all the unimaginative rule makers.

We currently have an unsold house in our neighborhood.
And I would far rather have open house signs and balloons in front of it every week than what we have now -- a vacant, unkempt house with overgrown grass.
