Mary Hunter Schaub of Apex, having accepted the saving grace of her Lord and Savior, completed her journey to her Heavenly home early on Friday morning, Sept. 25.

She was the second and youngest daughter of the late Carter S. and Deane Russell Schaub. She was also preceded by her infant brother, Bill Schaub, two paternal aunts, Mary Edith Schaub and Corinne Schaub Phillips and her husband Lee and a great nephew, Carter Nygaard.

Surviving are her sister Saundra Nygaard of Cumberland, VA, nephews Bill Nygaard of Blacksburg, VA., Jim Nygaard and his wife Margaret, and great nephew Brian Nygaard of Buckeystin, Md., and great niece Heather Nygaard of Seattle, WA. First cousin Lee Phillips and wife Vicki of Bonlee, and children of her late cousin Corinne Phillips Edgeworth - Douglas, Carter and Amanda Edgeworth of MD, and Douglas Edgeworth Sr. and wife Jenny of SC.
