Johnson was born Oct. 5, 1914 in Wake County to William and Quinettie (Dillard) King. She is survived by sons Alton Dale (Pam) Dillard of Raleigh, and Ector Olin (Ida) Dillard, of Bristol, TN; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Aquilla King of Durham. She is preceded in death by husband Albert Johnson, sister Verina Sorrell, and brothers Millard King and Gordon King.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 5:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4 at the Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St. (Hwy 55), Apex. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 5 with Rev. Richard Wright officiating at Ebenezer Community Baptist Church, 7808 Ebenezer Church Rd., Raleigh, NC 27612.
