She is survived by her daughter Jane Fairbetter of Cary; grandchildren Paul Fairbetter, Gail Allen, Ginger Hayes, Jan Yarborough, Diane Harbin and Sherry Escabedo; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and nieces Mary Lynn Truman and Debra Truman Borders.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Garrison and children Mary A. Crawford and Martha L. Garrison.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27 at First United Methodist Church in Cary.
