Surrounded by his loving family, Timothy E. Holland, 54, of Apex went to Heaven after a valiant battle with cancer, Monday, Sept. 21. He was born March 11, 1955 in Apex.

He is survived by his partner Barbara Galvin of Apex; son Christopher Scott Holland of Apex; daughter Nina Marie (Tim) Powell of Apex; granddaughters; Madileine, Olivia Powell; parents Elwood and Mary Belle Holland, of New Hill; sisters Gloria Wise of New Hill, Barbara DuPree of Moncure; brothers Billy Holland of Durham, Mike Holland of Apex, and Dana Holland of Apex. He is also survived by his Cape Fear family. Tim was preceded in death by a sister Donna King.

Visitation is from 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday Sept. 24 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., (Hwy 55), Apex, NC 27502. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 25 with Rev. Gerald Hart officiating at New Hill Baptist Church, 3700 Old US 1 Hwy, New Hill, NC 27562.
