Roos is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie; son Alan J. Roos Jr., son John T. Roos and his wife Tracey, daughter Sue Tracey and her husband Steve, grandchildren Nick, Zack, and Carly Roos and Emily, Michael, and David Tracey, and two brothers and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his son Andrew Roos and two brothers.

A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 804 High House Rd., Cary. Burial will be in Pittsburgh, PA.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 1 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Rd., Cary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Andy Roos Memorial Scholarship, ECU Foundation, Greenville Center Suite 1100, 2200 South Charles Blvd., Greenville, NC 27858.
