Someone pried open tool boxes on a company truck at Agra Environmental, 1517 Old Apex Road 100, between 9 a.m. July 2 and 3 p.m. July 6. Fifty hand tools, a sawzall and a drill were taken.

• Someone took two credit cards and a debit card from a vehicle at Peak Fitness, 107 Edinburgh Drive S. 100A, late in the morning or early in the afternoon of July 7. There were no signs of forced entry. The victim learned about 6 a.m. July 8 that at least one of the cards had been used to make several purchases totalling about $35 at convenience stores and fast-food outlets in Cary and Apex.

• Someone used a saw or cutting device to remove copper lines for air-conditioning units from houses under construction on Chime Court between July 3 and July 9.

• An employee at Chocolate Smiles, 312 W. Chatham St., observed chipped paint near the locks of two front doors. The damage is believed to have occurred between July 3 and July 8.

• Someone went through two unlocked vehicles on Coronado Way between midnight and 5 a.m. July 9. A cell phone was taken from one vehicle.

• An iPod was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Braebrook Way between 10 p.m. July 9 and 8 a.m. July 10.

• A white 1989 Toyota Camry bearing North Carolina license plate WWR 5863 was reported stolen from North Lake Street about 8 a.m. July 10. It had last been seen about 11 p.m. July 9. There were no signs of forced entry.

• Cary police have taken out a warrant for a suspect in an assault and auto theft. Officers received a call of an assault in progress on Lake Pine Drive about 10:20 p.m. July 9. The victim reported that her assailant had taken her burgundy Honda Accord bearing North Carolina license plate XRE 5790.

• Two teens face charges and juvenile charges are pending against a third for larcenies to motor vehicles on Applecross Drive. About 3 a.m. a witness reported three suspects were looking into vehicles and opening car doors. Officers responded. Jackson Roger Lambright, 16, of 418 Madison Ave. and Kenneth William Dougherty, 16, of 107 McCloud Court, were charged with larceny from a motor vehicle. A variety of property, including three pairs of sunglasses, cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, a surveyor’s tape and a disposable camera, was recovered.

• A Cary woman faces a prescription fraud charge. Ashley Robinson Carter, 42, of 106 Trappers Run Drive, is alleged to have altered a prescription for Adderall and presented it at Rite Aid, 929 Kildaire Farm Road, about 3 p.m. May 27. It was determined that the number of pills on the scrip had been increased over the number prescribed. Carter was charged July 10.

Cary police have recently charged the following people with driving while impaired: Ronald Ray Gilmore, 41, of 321 Glen Abbey Drive, charged about 2:55 a.m. July 9 at 100 Creek Park Drive; Charles Wayne Montgomery, 62, of 101 Kilbreck Drive, charged about 2:17 a.m. July 9 at 2400 S.W. Cary Parkway.
