A man reported that a PlayStation, DVD player, camera, two rings, a three-ring set and a key pass, valued at a total of more than $2,100, were taken from his apartment on Grande Harmony Place between April 4 and April 11. There is a suspect.
• Someone attempted to pry the driver’s-side window of a vehicle on Hudson Court between June 28 and July 5. No property was taken.
• A Cary man faces indecent exposure charges. Raymond Monroe Hill, 73, was reportedly masturbating on his back porch about 6:45 p.m. July 5. Two females, including a 14-year-old, saw him. He was charged with a misdemeanor count of indecent exposure and a felony count because of the girl’s age.
• A Cary man reported that he went to the N.C. Employment Security Commission office on July 3 and was told that two other people are using his Social Security number.
• A Raleigh woman reported an attempted strong-arm robbery at Wal-Mart, 2010 Kildaire Farm Road. About 8:55 p.m. the woman was walking toward her vehicle when a Hispanic male approached and said something in Spanish. The two struggled and the woman was knocked to the ground. The strap of her purse broke but the man fled without her purse.
• A Fuquay-Varina man reported that his light green 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle was taken from Lasky Court between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m. July 3.
• Someone smashed out the passenger-side window of a company van at BP Electric, 7726 Chapel Hill Road, between 5 p.m. July 5 and 10:40 a.m. July 6. A generator was taken.
• Ten locked and three unlocked cars on Hudson Court, Sloan Drive, Holtz Lane and East Park Street were entered between 10:30 p.m. July 3 and 6:30 a.m. July 4. The locked cars had their windows pried. More than $1,050 in cash and a GPS unit were taken.
• An employee at Express in Cary Towne Center, 1105 Walnut St., reported that about 7:50 p.m. July 3 and again about 8:30 p.m. July 4 two black females walked in and took a total of 68 men’s graphic shirts, 15 men’s polo shirts and nine pairs of men’s jeans valued at a total of nearly $3,300. The employee heard the alarm go off both times but did not see the suspects well.
• A Cary woman reported that $100 was taken from her dresser on Rainbow Court between 8 p.m. July 5 and 8 a.m. July 6. The door was locked before she left but she found it ajar. There were no signs of forced entry.
• Someone popped open a back door on Aisling Court between 8 and 11 a.m. July 3. Several drawers and closet and counter doors were opened. It did not appear property was missing.
Cary police have recently charged the following people with driving while intoxicated: Orion Kelly McDade, 33, of 5200 Olive Road, Raleigh, charged about 12:37 p.m. June 27 on Chapel Hill Road; Carlos Ozuna Vera, 32, of 5405 Picket Fence Lane, Raleigh, charged about 1:38 a.m. June 28 on East Chatham Street; Bobby Gene Larsen, 32, of 405 E. Chatham St., charged about 11:50 p.m. June 27 on East Chatham Street; Brian Louis Maxwell, 31, of 204 Southbank Drive, charged about 11:11 p.m. July 3 at 204 Southbank Drive; Remigio Grandeno Vivar, 32, of 101 Woodberry Court, charged about 3:30 a.m. July 6 at 1300 S.E. Maynard Road.
