A transformer and six outdoor lights valued at a total of $1,700 were taken from a construction site on Olde Carpenter Way between May 25 and May 29.

• Someone entered a garage on Minden Lane through a side door between May 24 and May 29. Seven drills, golf clubs and a golf bag were taken. Two truck tires were also apparently slashed.

• An altered prescription for Adderall was presented at Rite Aid, 929 Kildaire Farm Road, about 3 p.m. May 27. It was determined that the number of pills on the scrip had been increased over the number prescribed.

• A Nashville woman reported that she spent the night with a friend May 23 and then learned her credit card was missing. Deon Travelle Joyner, 22, of 404 Harlon Drive A3, is alleged to have made purchases totalling $81.95 at Quality Mart, 1611 Walnut St., between 3:30 p.m. May 23 and 2 p.m. May 24. Joyner was charged May 25.

• A Cary man reported that he went to Bentley’s, 2007 Walnut St., on May 25 and paid $91.12 for food and beverage and left a $12 tip. The entire amount was paid with a credit card. The man later learned the amount was changed to indicate a larger tip.

• Someone took a checkbook from an unlocked vehicle at Ace Hardware, 970 Kildaire Farm Road, between 10:15 and 10:25 a.m. June 4.

• Someone entered an unlocked home on Grand Valley Circle between 7:30 and 11:30 a.m. May 22 and took a computer, camera, Wii game system and cell phone.

• Cary police are investigating a rash of break-ins and thefts from unlocked vehicles in the area of East Cornwall Road, Ellynn Drive and Carolyn Court. Reports show that 10 vehicles were entered and that a computer, radio, radar detector, charger cord, backpack with clothing, iPod and camera were taken between 4:30 p.m. June 4 and 1 p.m. June 5.

• Cary police have recently charged the following people with driving while impaired: Sarah Lowe Vivrette, 53, of 103 Candy Apple Court, charged about 10:30 p.m. May 27 at 1000 N.W. Maynard Road; Robert Marvin Meacham III, 30, of 5006 Rambling Hills Drive, Morrisville, charged about 1:16 a.m. May 29 on Chapel Hill Road; Luis David Salinas-Vazquez, 33, of 210 Wrenn Drive H, charged about 5:01 a.m. May 31 at 700 High House Road; Julie Marie Armstrong, 32, of 3616 Westover Road, Durham, charged about 8:15 p.m. May 30 at 270 Grande Heights Drive; Joseph William Rushing, 29, of 5403 Crossroads Valley Court, Raleigh, charged about 12:04 a.m. May 30 on Northeast Maynard Road; Juan Ramon Pagan, 47, of 8357 Wynewood Drive, Raleigh, charged about 2:10 a.m. June 1 on Barwell Road in Raleigh; Daniel Scott Morgan, 25, of 15 Riverside Drive, Fuquay-Varina, charged about 5:02 a.m. June 5 on Southwest Maynard Road; Brenda Spivey Loznicka, 57, of 2836 Ringgold Drive, Apex, charged about 8 a.m. May 15 at Kildaire Farm and Arthur Pierce roads.
