Three credit cards and $100 in currency were taken from two unlocked vehicles on Dutchess Drive between 9:30 p.m. May 6 and 7 a.m. May 7.
• An employee on a construction site on Waterford Lake Drive saw a man walk out of the office trailer about 2:05 p.m. May 6 and get into a dark blue Ford Explorer. A computer was taken.
• Someone busted in the back door of a home on Stanopal Drive between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. May 7. Two computers, a safe, six credit cards, $300 in U.S. currency, 500 euros, a passport, miscellaneous documents, digital camera and plug-in Internet connection were taken.
• An attempted break-in of a vehicle was reported on Rosedown Drive. Scratches were found around the corner of the door near the seal. It is believed the damage was done between 2 and 9:14 a.m. May 7.
• Someone attempted to break into a vehicle at Oak Grove Elementary School, 10401 Penny Road, about 1:50 a.m. May 2. The victim saw a subject in the area.
• Someone apparently placed a table under a window on Park York Lane, removed screens and opened a bathroom window to enter the home between May 10 and May 13. Five Xbox games and two Xbox controllers were taken.
• Someone cut the lock off a construction trailer on Greyhawk Place between 4:30 p.m. May 12 and 7 a.m. May 13. Two boosters, two extension cords, four power nailers, two finish nailers and a radial arm saw were taken.
• Unsecured copper tubing was taken from a vehicle on Bargate Drive between 4:30 p.m. May 13 and 5:50 a.m. May 14.
• A 55-gallon Diesel fuel tank containing 55 gallons of Diesel fuel was removed from a construction site on Connemara Drive between 8 a.m. May 9 and 1:11 p.m. May 12.
• Two cutoff saws and two diamond blades were removed from the bed of a pickup truck on Kildaire Farm Road between 9:40 and 10:30 a.m. May 14.
• An employee at Holt & Tyson Family Dentistry, 540 New Waverly Place 200, reported that two cameras valued at a total of more than $1,100 were taken from the practice between Feb. 6 and May 14.
• A Cary couple reported that between May 2 and May 6 someone accessed their money market account either by telephone or Internet and removed $10,000.
• A landscaping tamping tool valued at $2,500 was reported taken from a construction site on Ryehill Drive between noon May 14 and 11:38 a.m. May 15. Workers at another nearby site reported seeing someone load the tamper into a truck but could not offer a description of the suspect or truck.
• A credit card was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle at Bond Park, 801 High House Road, between 4:40 p.m. May 13 and 5:45 p.m. May 14.
• Police are investigating two burglaries on McCartney Court. The incidents occurred between 6 p.m. May 13 and 9:40 a.m. May 14. Glass in a rear kitchen door and a window were broken to make entry.
• Cary police have recently charged the following people with driving while impaired: James Dean Brown II, 40, of 115 Maple Spring Court, Clemmons, charged about 3 a.m. May 4 on North Harrison Avenue; Joseph Allen Bass II, 31, of 113 Rock Pointe Lane, charged about 1:11 a.m. May 11 on Chapel Hill Road; Bertin Marroquin-Martinez, 30, of 1229 Pond St., charged about 8:54 p.m. May 3 on Village Greenway; Kenneth Justus Carlquist, 33, of 102 Clancy Circle, charged about 1 a.m. May 14 on North Harrison Avenue.
