A Cobra radar detector was taken.• Someone entered a vehicle on Reunion Park Drive between 7 p.m. April 12 and 6:30 a.m. April 13. An empty purse and a broken iPod were taken.• Apex police recently charged the following people with driving while impaired: Fernando Rodriguez Garcia, 24, of 1200 E. Williams St., Unit G, charged about 2:22 p.m. April 10 at South Hughes Street and Perry Road; Brian James Munley, 21, of 2464 Beechwood Drive, Asheboro, charged about 4:10 a.m. April 11 at 1000 Beaver Creek Commons Drive; Derek Alan Taylor, 22, of 1104 Easywater Court, Fuquay-Varina, charged about 2:51 a.m. April 12 at East Williams Street and Lufkin Road; Monica Marie Gunter, 29, of 904 W. Chatham St., Cary, charged about 12:30 a.m. April 14 at Old Raleigh Road and Laura Duncan Road.

• Someone entered four unlocked vehicles on East Stonemason Drive between 5:30 p.m. April 7 and 6:23 p.m. April 8. Four GPS units, a portable DVD player, a bluetooth headset and a phone charger were taken.• Fuquay-Varina police recently charged the following person with driving while impaired: James Julian Trombetti Sr., 49, of 5129 Little Beaverdam Ct., Holly Springs, charged about 7:22 p.m. April at South Main Street and Spring Street.

• Holly Springs police charged Joshua Lee Wells, 28, of 7504 Newt Country Lane, with trafficking, identity theft, maintaining a dwelling or motor vehicle to keep or sell drugs and failure to appear. Police found 7.1 grams of illegally obtained Valium after stopping the suspect’s vehicle for careless and reckless driving.• Multiple counterfeit bills have been used recently at businesses in Holly Springs. Someone used a counterfeit $50 bill at the Food Lion at 517 N. Main St., a counterfeit $20 bill at the Sonic Drive-In at 700 Cayman Ave., and a counterfeit $100 bill at Quality Food Mart at 300 N. Main St.• Holly Springs police recently charged the following person with driving while impaired: Edgardo Rodriguez, 28, of 108 Sunnychole Court, charged about 11:59 p.m. April 12 at Avent Ferry Road and Holly Springs Road.
