Morrisville Councilman Mike Snyder has announced that he will not seek reelection to the District 4 seat in November.
Snyder states that, for now, he intends to pursue other interests. He left the door open as to whether he would run again for office in the future.
Among the focus of his many efforts during the last four years, Snyder points to a few highlights as: being a staunch voice for NCDOT to step up its transportation road improvement projects in Morrisville, voting against further development along Church Street due to the congestion that area has seen in the last five years and a lack of infrastructure to support that growth, a call for the revamping of the town’s planning and review process, fiscal responsibility, and most importantly, an advocate for smart and controlled growth in Morrisville.
Mike went on to say, “It has been an incredibly rewarding opportunity to serve as the first District 4 representative in Morrisville. He thanks the many residents for their continued support and confidence they have shown.”
