A Holly Springs artist is offering free painting demonstrations.

Expressing her belief in “Lifting the Human Spirit Through Art,” Willie Green-Aldridge will hold a painting demonstration at Jerry’s Artarama, 3060 Wake Forest Road in Raleigh, on Saturday, April 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. An art raffle for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life fundraiser will be held. Tickets may be purchased for $1 for a chance to win a Green-Aldridge painting.

On Saturday, May 2, Green-Aldridge will give a free demonstration at the Garden Hut in Fuquay-Varina during their Hosta Party. Stop by from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. to watch her work and get tips. The Garden Hut is located at 1004 Old Honeycutt Road. Visit her online at williegreenaldridge.com.
