We’ll be launching the Southwest Wake News, a weekly sister publication to The Cary News, in an effort to better serve readers in Apex, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina.

Households in Cary and Morrisville will still receive The Cary News, with a focus on news and events in those towns.

Both community papers will come with grocery and other inserts and be home to ads from businesses in your neighborhoods. We will be delivered with The News & Observer to home delivery subscribers and as a stand-alone community newspaper to other households. The Southwest Wake News is part of the News & Observer Publishing Company’s commitment to strong local coverage in the towns and communities that make up the Triangle.

The Southwest Wake News will be published on Wednesdays. In it you will find many of the same features enjoyed in The Cary News including “Names and Faces” profiles, event coverage and news about how people in your community live, work and play.
