ANTIQUE CAR SHOW

The Antique Automobile Club of America will host 71 antique automobiles from 22 states this week. The cars will be on display from 5 to 7 p.m. today on the main street of Fuquay-Varina. The town will close the street to vehicle traffic so pedestrians can get a good look at the cars. All cars have been restored to their factory-original condition. The cars were built between 1912 and 1931 and include rare makes such as Pullman, Stanley Steamer, Essex, Packard, Franklin, Peerless, Hudson and Oakland. JOBLINK ACCESS POINT

Dorcas Ministries of Christian Community in Action will have JobLink Access Point service hours from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Dorcas Thrift Shop, 1231 N.E. Maynard Road in Cary. JobLink volunteers will help jobseekers with resumes, interviews, salary and benefit negotiations, continuing education, workshops, career fairs, labor and salary trends and Internet access. The Wake County Public Schools human resources department in Cary is holding its third annual silent auction from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at its Crossroads office at 110 Corning Road. THE ART OF THE VISUAL PUN

The Halle Cultural Arts Center welcomes Don Stewart and Paul Volker for "The Art of the Visual Pun" exhibition and sale from Friday through Wednesday, Nov. 25. The Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce will host its seventh annual Day in Downtown in the downtown historic business district on South Main Street. The event will feature arts and crafts, a business expo, a classic car show, a chili cook-off, Kids' Kourt, entertainment and food vendors. Learn to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children. First aid training includes caring for shock, sudden illness, severe bleeding and injuries. CARY PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTISTS

The Cary Photographic Artists Club Exhibition is calling for artists to enter an upcoming show at the Cary Senior Center, 120 Maury O'Dell Place, Cary. The show runs from Nov. 19 until Dec. 18. Entries for original photographic art pieces will be received at the center starting Nov. 16 from 1 to 8 p.m. Pre-registration is suggested and is available by requesting entry forms.
