Wine distributors from across North Carolina pour the largest and most varied selection of wines for any tasting held in the area. CARY DIWALI

The Cary Diwali Festival, presented by Hum Sub and the town of Cary, kicks off at 11 a.m. Diwali, the festival of lights, is the most popular of all the festivals from India and is celebrated worldwide. Last year's festival drew a record crowd of more 12,000 people. This year, festivities run until 8 p.m. at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary. For more information, visit humsub.net.
