The Town of Cary Police Department has released more details in the search for a vehicle involved in the accident on June 22, on Green Level to Durham Road; police are seeking a beige van or large SUV with a box-shaped rear, and the vehicle likely has a black paint transfer or scrape mark on the front, left bumper.

On Monday, June 22, 2009 shortly before 1 p.m., a driver and two passengers traveling in a Lexus SUV were injured in the accident that occurred at the intersection of Green Level to Durham Road and Cary Glen Boulevard; one of the passengers, Kailee Nicole Birdsong, 16, of Cary later died from her injuries.
