Police have arrested the son of Dwayne A. Frazier, the man charged with rape after police said he showed a sex video to several people in an attempt to clear his son’s name.Stafon Cordell Strickland-Frazier, 16, faces one count each of second-degree sexual offense and first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.Court documents say that a woman called police last month. She reported that her daughter had been raped by a former boyfriend and his father and that the incident had been caught on video.According to a search warrant, Frazier showed a video of a teenage girl and his son engaged in a sex act to a school official and another person. He also called a Cary Police Department detective and offered to show him a portion of the video, which Frazier said would exonerate his son. Police later requested permission to seize the memory card and camera.Frazier, a U.S. Army sergeant first class assigned to Fort Bragg, was initially charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, and later with second-degree rape. Frazier’s attorney has said his client denies raping the teen.Strickland-Frazier lives in Virginia and was visiting his father in Cary. Warrants for his arrest were issued Nov. 26 and he was booked into the Wake County jail on Dec. 2, according to court documents. He was being held last week in lieu of $75,000 bail.Frazier was also still being held last week in lieu of $400,000 bail.
