WHAT: Novant Health will host a community forum in Fuquay-Varina to discuss the 47-bed, acute care hospital proposed for the southern intersection of N.C. 55 and Ralph Stephens Road in Holly Springs. The forum will give local residents the opportunity to hear a formal presentation about the hospital and ask any questions they may have about the project.

WHY: Novant Health has proposed to build a new 47-bed, acute care hospital to serve the residents of southern Wake County. Services at the proposed Holly Springs Hospital will include:
• 47 private rooms (41 licensed beds and 6 observations rooms)
• Intensive care unit
• 24-hour emergency department with 16 treatment rooms
• Surgical operating rooms
• Maternity services
• Diagnostic Imaging services
• Full-service laboratory and pharmacy
• Outpatient Services
• Respiratory Therapy
• Opening with over 200 employees
