• Dean Logan and Paul Boehling have joined MicroMass Communications Inc., a marketing firm headquartered in Cary.

Logan will serve as a creative director. He has 18 years of experience working on consumer brands such as General Electric Co., RCA, Visa and H&R Block. Boehling will work as network systems administrator and be responsible for maintaining the network and supporting new IT projects.

• Lucky 32 restaurant in Cary is celebrating 20 years in business with a special anniversary menu.

The menu, available through June 20, will include three courses for $20 and daily prizes. Customers can also add three 3-ounce glasses of wine for a total of $32.

“That Luckys is 20 means a lot to me,” said Dennis Quaintance, co-owner. “Especially since restaurant years are like dog years, so in adjusted terms she’s over 100!”

• Budget Self Storage is offering six free storage units for local nonprofits. They’re also holding a contest for the best marketing idea for two recently opened Cary locations.

Dan Therriault, Budget’s regional manager of operations, said they’re donating space to nonprofits to help with their stretched budgets. The applicants will receive one of six 10-foot by 10-foot units at the 302 Davis Grove Circle and 5738 Dillard Drive locations in Cary. All organizations must be 501 (c) 3 companies and be based in the tri-county area. Applications are due by May 30. Call each branch for more information: 387-8275 or 233-3838.

The marketing contest applicants should send their most creative sales idea by e-mail to cary@budgetself-storage.com by June 30. The top three prizes will be $500, $250 and $100.
