• The Cary Chamber of Commerce and Wake Tech Small Business Center presents “Business Success on The Web.”

The series of four classes will cover developing a low-cost Web site, attracting search engines and using social media like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Success coach Martin Brossman and guest speakers will present the information beginning May 20 and running through June 10, successive Wednesdays 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Western Wake Tech Campus, 3434 Kildaire Farm Road, Room 118, Cary. Cost for the series is $79.

• Inwood Forest, a luxury home community in Raleigh, was a triple winner at the Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence Awards banquet in Cary on April 14.

The awards were “Best Logo for a Community,” “Best Brochure for a Community” and “Best Web site for a Community.” The winning logo, brochure and Web site were all created by Hummingbird Creative Group of Cary.

• Kevin Lingard with Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston received the National Association of Realtor’s Green Designation.

Lingard earned the designation after 18 hours of course work learning what qualifies a property as “green,” and how to guide homeowners with those goals.
