Marshall serves as pageKenneth Anthony Marshall, a student at Green Hope High School, recently served as a Page in the N.C. Senate. He is the son of Kenneth and Cynthia Marshall of Cary. Ken was sponsored and appointed by the Senate President Pro Tempore, Marc Basnight.
Storm earns Silver AwardApril Kate Storm of Morrisville has been awarded the Girl Scout Silver Award, the second-highest achievement in Girl Scouting.
For her Silver Award project, April hosted a cooking workshop for Girl Scout Juniors. Participants made bagged lunches for the Women's Center of Wake County. She also held a food drive, with donations given to a church food pantry.
April is the daughter of LeeAnn and Gary Storm and is a student at West Cary Middle School.
Silver project is joint effortTwo friends from Cary -- Sanjana Prabhu and Pavithra Suresh -- have been awarded the Girl Scout Silver Award, the second-highest achievement in Girl Scouting. For their Silver Award project, the two hosted a four-hour event called "Junior Fun with Fashion Day" for local Junior Girl Scouts. They helped 44 Junior Girl Scouts earn their "Art to Wear" badges. Sanjana and Pavithra also collected and donated clothing to With Love From Jesus, a Raleigh nonprofit organization.
Sanjana is the daughter of Ganesh and Shaila Prabhu and is in the 10th grade at Enloe High School. Pavithra is the daughter of R. Suresh and Priya Suresh and also is a 10th-grader at Enloe.
