DIVORCE CARE 4 KIDSDivorce Care 4 Kids is a nondenominational biblical program that helps children deal with the separation or divorce of their parents. It is designed for children ages 5 to 12 and meets from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays at White Plains United Methodist Church in Cary. The program combines music, crafts, games and other activities. KIRK OF KILDAIRE PRESBYTERIAN"Kirkin' o' the Tartan" services are scheduled for 8:45 and 11a.m. Sunday at the Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church in Cary. Pipes and drums will play. Guest minister for the service will be the Rev. Pete Peery, president of the Montreat Conference Center. The service will include readings from the Scot's Confession, Celtic prayers and Scottish hymns. A luncheon and a short program on Scottish music and dance follow. GOOD SHEPHERD UNITED CHURCH OF CHRISTCary's Good Shepherd United Church of Christ and St. Francis United Methodist Church are sponsoring a workshop with singer/songwriter Linnea Good at 1 p.m. Saturday. The workshop is for church musicians and Christian educators. At 7 p.m., Good will perform in concert with her husband, percussionist David Jonsson. The concert features secular and Christian music with songs for children and adults. Both events will take place in the sanctuary of Cary's Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, at 1050 N.W.
