Worship with the Justin Teseniar Band
The Village Church is presenting A Night of Worship with the Justin Teseniar Band, a local Christian band that will be releasing an album this year. Admission is free. Financial Peace University
More than 60 families have signed up for the fall session of Financial Peace University program at First United Methodist Church. These families are making a 13-week commitment to change their financial future and learn good spending and saving habits to transform the way they live. The program, created by author and personal money management expert Dave Ramsey, has helped people all over the country manage their household finances. They have a support system of not only each other, but the support of more than 70 households who have already completed the program. A community preview of the program will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 23 in the First United Methodist Church sanctuary at 117 S. Academy St. in Cary. Classes will be offered on Sunday afternoons, Sunday evenings, Monday evenings, Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings. Visit www.fumc-cary.org/fpu for more details or to register. Fellowship Preschool has openings
Limited spaces are available for 4-year-olds at Fellowship Preschool. Fellowship is a part-time program, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.. It’s at 1788 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary. Call 919-380-0533 for more information.

Christ The King names DEACON
Danielle Kosanovich will be installed and consecrated as diaconal minister and director of congregational life at Christ the King Lutheran Church. The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 600 Walnut Street in Cary. North Carolina Bishop Leonard Bolick will preside, and a reception will follow.

Greenfield Missionary Choir Day
Greenfield Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its second annual choir day at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23. . The public is welcome to celebrate through song and praise. The church is at 2697 N.C. 56 East Creedmoor, NC.

Dock comes to Greenfield Missionary
Minister Haywood L. Dock of Pleasant Union Christian Church in Raleigh will be guest speaker at Greenfield Missionary Baptist Church during the second, third and fourth Sundays in August. Morning worship starts at 11 a.m. at 2697 N.C 56 East in Creedmoor.

Excel Church opens doors
Excel Church, a new place of worship for those who are not actively attending any church, has opened. The church invites the public to meet new friends, enjoy contemporary music and hear positive messages at 10:10 a.m. Sept. 13. Guests will receive a coupon for free Java Divine coffee for one year.
