Financial Peace University
More than 60 families have signed up for the fall session of Financial Peace University program at First United Methodist Church. These families are making a 13-week commitment to change their financial future and learn good spending and saving habits to transform the way they live. The program, created by author and personal money management expert Dave Ramsey, has helped people all over the country manage their household finances. They have a support system of not only each other, but the support of more than 70 households who have already completed the program. A community preview of the program will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 23 in the First United Methodist Church sanctuary at 117 S. Academy St. in Cary. Christ The King names DEACON
Danielle Kosanovich will be installed and consecrated as diaconal minister and director of congregational life at Christ the King Lutheran Church. The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 600 Walnut Street in Cary. North Carolina Bishop Leonard Bolick will preside, and a reception will follow.

Greenfield Missionary Choir Day
