Cary Visual Art has appointed Todd Bryant as its new executive director.

Bryant will guide the organization as it pursues a community-focused outreach program that includes a scholarship, a public-art lecture series, an artist-in-residence program, and other initiatives.

Bryant’s experience in the nonprofit sector will be valuable to CVA as it pursues these and other public art and education initiatives in Cary. Bryant brings over eight years of experience in art institutions.

“Cary Visual Art has refocused our energies to become more involved in the community on a broader level,” said Barbara Petty, CVA board chair. “We wanted someone to be able to come into the organization with fresh ideas, lots of energy and a commitment to public art, all of which we feel Todd offers.”
