The fifth annual Great Grapes! Wine, Arts & Food Festival will be held Saturday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Regency Park. The outdoor festival will feature more than 150 wines from 15 North Carolina wineries, live music, cooking demonstrations and gourmet foods, as well as more than 50 unique exhibits featuring wine accessories, arts and crafts.There will be local music on the main stage from bands such as Bull City Syndicate and Gypsy Drug Store.Also this year, the first annual “Great Grapes! Stomp-Off” will take place. Media personalities will face off against festival attendees as they dip their toes into barrels full of grapes. The stomp-off will be held from 3:45 to 4:15 p.m.A portion of the proceeds of the event will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Triangle Chapter.Tickets are $20 at the door or $18 in advance and include all performances, cooking demonstrations, a souvenir wine glass and wine tastings.
