    Jadyn Alexandria McLean, a student at East Clayton Elementary School, took part recently in a People to People World Leadership Forum. She and fellow students from around the world attended an embassy dinner, visited the Statue of Liberty and toured the United Nations Headquarters.

    Dr. Frank Creech of Smithfield will take part in the Aspiring Superintendent Fellows Program, an initiative to increase North Carolina’s pool of qualified superintendents. He is chief academic officer for the Greene County schools.
