Cool for Wake
Cool for Wake provides fans and air conditioners to Wake County residents in need during extremely hot weather. The program is collecting donations of new or like-new fans or money. North Carolina residents ages 18-25 are invited to submit short videos on the theme of building cultural bridges for the sixth annual Citizen Diplomacy Summit by Friday, July 11. The summit will be Thursday, Sept. 11, at The Cary, 122 E. Chatham St.
