Cary resident graduates from infantry training

Anna Gillette Roberts, a 2013 graduate of Cary High School, graduated from the U.S. Marines infantry training school at Fort Geiger in Jacksonville.

Knights of Columbus Council announces donation

The Knights of Columbus Council 6650 donated $15,921 to local school programs at its annual Least Among My Brethren Awards presentation on Jan. 27 at the Trinity Center of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary. Funds were donated to local teachers and school programs for students with disabilities.

Cary 11-year-old becomes Kid Reporter

Raymond Baartmans, who recently moved to Cary, was chosen this summer to be a TIME For Kids Kid Reporter. Raymond conducts interviews on local and national news for TIME For Kids.
