Cary Boy Scouts earn Eagle Scout rank

Mark Menechella, Zach Brothers and Jordan Tsolis of Troop 213 became Eagle Scouts, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

Mark, the son of Gino and Ruth Menechella of Cary, is a sophomore at Middle Creek High School. For his Eagle Scout project, he built an information kiosk for the community garden at Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church.

Zach, the son of Mike and Linda Brothers of Cary, is a sophomore at Apex High School. He built a pair of tumbling composters for the Compost Education Center at Fred G. Bond Metro Park.

Jordan, the son of Ron and Julie Tsolis of Cary, is a junior at Green Hope High School. He led a team of friends, family and Scouts to make a stone path near the Page-Walker Arts & History Center.
