The Fuquay-Varina Library will host story time for children ages 1-3 at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays in January at 133 S. Fuquay Ave.

Flu clinics

Forever in Our Hearts benefit

The Forever in Our Hearts benefit will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Hog Heaven Motocross Arena, 5760 Percy Strickland Road, Godwin. There will be live music, food, raffles, auctions, family activities, carriage rides, motocross and more. The last hour of the benefit will be for anyone who has lost a loved one, with sky lanterns, candle lighting and prayer.

The benefit will raise money for families of teens and young adults who were in a car accident on Nov. 10. Austin Ferrell, Shane Garner and Casey Edens died in the accident. Autumn Zimmer and Marina Troyano survived with injuries. The event’s organizers are raising money to help all of their families.

Admission is free and donations will be collected.
