Triangle Seagals

The Triangle Seagals’ holiday meeting will be noon Saturday, Dec. 7, at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, 908 U.S. 64, Apex. Navy Lt. Laura C. Small will speak.

Boy Scout Troop 75 yard sale

Boy Scout Troop 75 will have a yard sale 7 a.m.-noon Saturday, Dec. 7, at American Legion Post 116, 6400 Johnson Pond Road, Fuquay-Varina. The yard sale will raise money for gas for the troop’s bus. The troop will also help the Legion with its seasonal Christmas tree sale.

Apex Newcomers and Friends Club

The Apex Newcomers and Friends Club meets 9:30 a.m. the second Wednesday of the month at the C.C. Jones Community Center, 309 Holleman St., Apex. The Peak City Singers will perform at the December meeting. For details, go to www.apexnewcomers.org.

Toastmasters

• The Perimeter Park Toastmasters club meets noon-1 p.m. every other Wednesday at the United Way office at 2400 Perimeter Park Drive, Suite 150, Morrisville. Details: www.perimeterpark.toastmastersclubs.org.

• The Heart of Cary Toastmasters, which focuses on public speaking, meets 7-8 p.m. Wednesdays in the second-floor meeting room of the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. Visitors are welcome.

• The Techtalk Toastmasters Club meets 5:30-6:45 p.m. Thursdays at NetApp Building Two, 7301 Kit Creek Road in Research Triangle Park. The club helps members sharpen communication and leadership skills. Details: techtalk.toastmastersclubs.org.

Cary Newcomers Club

The Cary Newcomers Club meets at 9:15 a.m. the first Wednesday of each month at Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church, 200 High Meadow Drive. Air Force Association
