Senior Game Day

Fuquay-Varina residents 55 and older will meet for board games at 1 p.m. in the Fuquay-Varina Community Center, 820 S. Main St.

Thanksgiving Day Hike

The Thanksgiving Day Hike around Lake Johnson for people who are alone on the holiday will start at 2:30 p.m. in the Athens Drive Community Library parking lot on Avent Ferry Road, Raleigh. For details, go to nightonthetown2002.tripod.com.

Friday

Holiday Art Spectacular Reception

The Village Art Circle will host its Holiday Art Spectacular Reception 6-9 p.m. at 200 S. Academy St., Suite 130, Cary. Artists will present live music and art demos, and there will be food and wine.

Farmers Market

Bloodmobile

Donate blood at the American Red Cross Bloodmobile 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at West Regional Library, 4000 Louis Stephens Drive, Cary. To register, go to www.redcrossblood.org and use the sponsor code “Wake Library.”
