The U12 Tornadoes won their third championship title in four seasons in the Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Soccer League on Oct. 19. Apex adults

Registration for ages 18 and older will be open until Thursday, Dec. 12. The league will play from January to March. This costs $450 per team, and $25 per player for nonresidents. Register at

Apex youth

Registration for girls and boys is open. The cost is $63 for residents and $78 for nonresidents. Practices will begin the week of Monday, Dec. 2. Games will be from early January to early March. For more information, call 919-249-3402 or email


Adult Men’s Flag

Registration for men’s flag football in Fuquay-Varina is open until Friday, Nov. 15, at Game equipment, officials and fields will be provided. The cost is $25 per resident or $40 per nonresident. Practice will begin in December and games will begin in January.


YLS winter

The Youth Lacrosse System will hold the boys’ Chumash Challenge games, boys’ Frozen Fingers Lacrosse Leagues, Polar YLS Camp for boys and school club teams this fall and winter.

The Cary Tennis Park maintains an interest board. If you would like to play but do not have an opponent, stop by the Cary Tennis Park office and add your name to the board to find other players who are looking for matches.
