All Saints Day

A musical service for All Saints Day will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at White Plains United Methodist Church, 313 SE Maynard Road, Cary. The church choir will perform with a 15-member orchestra including the church’s musicians, members of the N.C. Symphony and guest soloists.

DivorceCare: Surviving the Holidays

Holiday Fair

The fifth annual Holiday Fair of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in the Parish Center at 804 High House Road, Cary. More than 40 artists will sell their work to raise money for the church’s benefit programs for local children.

Veterans Day worship service

Holly Springs United Methodist Church will host a worship service to commemorate Veterans Day at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at the monument beside the church at 108 Avent Ferry Road, Holly Springs.

Tutors needed

The Kirk Outreach After-School Learning Academy seeks volunteers to help first- and second-grade students from Briarcliff Elementary School with homework one or more days per week. The program runs from 4-5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year at Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church, 200 High Meadow Drive, Cary. Family support ministry meeting

A family support ministry organized by Mary Williams-Farrington and the Pardoned by Christ Ministry will meet the second Tuesday of every month. Brown Bag Ministry

The Brown Bag Ministry, which feeds more than 1,400 people a week, is looking for middle- and high school-age volunteers. The group meets at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex about 9 a.m. Saturdays. Volunteers prepare bagged meals and hand them out in Raleigh.
