School Notes: Oct. 30.

October 28, 2013

The Triangle Math and Science Academy in Cary launched a balloon into the atmosphere on Oct. 17. A camera attached to the balloon took photos of its launch, pictured here with students in red and white, to 113,850 feet above sea level, and its travel and descent into Halifax County. The event was sponsored by the school’s Science Olympiad team and organized by teacher Isa Pamuk and parent volunteer Tanner Lovelace. For details, go to tmsacademy.org.
