Concerts for a Cause
Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church will present performances by Nathaniel Olson, the church’s Music Ministry and combined choirs of Cary at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at 200 High Meadow Drive, Cary. The musical tribute to the hymns and songs of George Beverly Shea will raise money for Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian international relief organization.

Fall Festival at White Plains
White Plains United Methodist Church will host its Fall Festival 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at 313 SE Maynard Road, Cary. There will be a chili cook-off, games, kids’ activities, a costume contest, a Puppet Ministry performance and trunk-or-treating for kids and parents.

The Kirk Outreach After-School Learning Academy seeks volunteers to help first- and second-grade students from Briarcliff Elementary School with homework one or more days per week.
