Apex adults

Registration for ages 18 and up will be open from Tuesday, Nov. 11, to Thursday, Dec. 12. The league will play from January to March. This costs $450 per team, and $25 per player for nonresidents. Register at

Registration for the winter season for ages 9-18 will be open from Monday, Oct. 7, to Sunday, Oct. 27, at

Fuquay-Varina youth

Registration for kids and teens for the fall and winter is open until Saturday, Oct. 12, at

Morrisville kids

Registration for girls and boys younger than 12 opened for residents Tuesday, Oct. 1, and for nonresidents Tuesday, Oct. 15, at The cost is $66 per resident and $99 per nonresident. Practices will begin in the week after Thanksgiving. Games will begin in early January and continue until the middle of March.


Fuquay-Varina youth

Fuquay-Varina’s dance troupes for ages 7-9 and 10-13 will accept registration until Saturday, Oct. 12, at The cost is $40 for residents and $65 for nonresidents. The group will perform weekly during halftime at youth basketball games.


TriangleXC Fall

TriangleXC’s fall cross-country meets are open to all students in grades five through eight who enjoy running. Details:


Adult Men’s Flag

Registration for men’s flag football in Fuquay-Varina will open Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Game equipment, officials and fields will be provided. The cost is $40 per resident or $65 per nonresident. Practice will begin in December and games will begin in January.


YLS Fall

The Youth Lacrosse System will hold a series of lacrosse camps and leagues for girls in third through eighth grade and boys in grades kindergarten through 12th grade.

Cary Adult Organized Play

The Cary Tennis Park maintains an interest board. If you would like to play but do not have an opponent, stop by the Cary Tennis Park office and add your name to the board to find other players who are looking for matches.
