Apex is throwing a party Sunday

October 4, 2013

— The town is throwing a party to celebrate its recent top-10 ranking in Money Magazine’s list of best places to live in America.

Party in the Peak will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Apex Town Campus, 73 Hunter St. The event will feature live music, a food truck rodeo, free ice cream and inflatable rides and other activities for children.

Apex ranked ninth in the magazine’s listing this year, which included towns with a population of less than 50,000. The annual list ranks communities based on economic factors, schools, crime rates, quality health care and recreational opportunities.
