Wake opens early voting site in Cary

— A second early voting site for Wake County residents opens Wednesday at the Herbert C. Young Community Center in Cary.

Voters wishing to cast their ballots early for next Tuesday’s municipal elections in Raleigh and Cary and the county school board election and school bond referendum now have two choices. The first early-voting site at the Wake County Board of Elections office on South Salisbury Street in downtown Raleigh remains open.

The Cary site, at 101 Wilkinson Ave., will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Raleigh early-voting site will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Polls will be open countywide on election day, Tuesday, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
