Pfeiffer Institute Reach will celebrate the opening of its marriage and family therapy program with a ribbon-cutting, reception and tour from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at 600 Airport Blvd., Suite 600, Morrisville.

Triangle Rock Club, based in Morrisville, opened its second location Friday at 6022 Duraleigh Road, Raleigh.

Virtuoso Jewels, a jewelry store that offers custom-made jewelry, repairs, restorations and appraisals, has opened in Apex. The shop, which is open on Fridays and by appointment-only the rest of the week, is at 114-B N. Salem St.


The Apex Chamber of Commerce will host Business After Hours networking from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at Norris Park, 3471 Apex Peakway. Members and prospective members are welcome for business connections, dinner and door prizes.

The Apex Chamber of Commerce will hold its Savor Apex Member Appreciation Party from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in the chamber parking lot, 220 N. Salem St., Apex. There will be food from local restaurants, music and door prizes.


Tina Cannizo was promoted to the role of human resources manager at Greenscape Inc. in Holly Springs and the company’s Weed Man franchises.


Michael Ballance of Cary was chosen to be included in “The Best Lawyers in America” referral list.


Kroger of Apex, at 940 U.S. 64, recently held a customer appreciation day and hot dog sale to raise money for supplies for students of Apex Elementary School.

The Matthews House, a wedding venue at 317 W. Chatham St., Cary, gave away a free wedding to Amy Yarbrough and John Beckling at its open house on Saturday, Aug. 17.
