Morrisville police seek suspect in armed robbery

— Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman they are seeking in connection with an armed robbery on Wednesday.

The incident occurred at 9:23 p.m. near 3033 Market Center Drive, according to a news release from the town of Morrisville.

The woman, who was seen on video footage, is described as an African-American who stands about 5 feet, 1 inch and weighs about 125 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a green shirt, tan pants, black and white sneakers and a black scarf around her neck. She was with a Hispanic female who has dark shoulder-length hair and was wearing a white T-shirt and basketball shorts, according to the release.

Both women were seen running toward Bristol Creek Drive.

Anyone with information about the women, or who may have been a witness, is urged to contact the Morrisville Police Department at 919-463-1600.
