Wake County Public Libraries and Kaplan Test Prep will host a free practice session for the SAT and ACT tests from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at West Regional Library, 4000 Louis Stephens Drive. Barnes & Noble supports local libraries
Barnes & Noble customers can donate to Wake County Public Libraries from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 760 SE Maynard Road. Customers who use a special code 11117702 when purchasing books will send a percentage of the proceeds from the sale to support the book collections of local libraries. The same donation will be available for online purchases from Aug. 24-29.
Bloodmobile in Cary
The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will visit Cary from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at West Regional Library, 4000 Louis Stephens Drive.
